Are you having issues with the collection of your mini skip hire Perth?
One of the key parts of hiring a skip bin is the pickup and delivery service. We pride ourselves on our reliability in getting the bins where they need to be on time. However, there are instances when this is not what happens. If you’re having trouble with the collection, consider the following situations.
First, check if the bins are in the designated pickup location at the right time, and that they’re sealed.
For what we hope are obvious reasons, we can’t collect bins that aren’t present at the appointed time. This is primarily for our regular service in residential areas. We also adhere to regulations that require the bins to be closed during transit, rather than overflowing.
Are the contents of the bin within the parameters of its type?
Each skip bin you hire from us is meant to contain certain types of materials. A bin designed for construction or demolition work is not the same one used for green waste. Household rubbish is also an entirely different type of bin.
If the contents aren’t approved, that’s a violation of our terms of service. In such cases, we’ll leave a bin hanger so you know why it wasn’t collected.
Severe weather conditions can also prevent us from collecting the bins as scheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your understanding. Whenever these circumstances arise, we make an effort to inform you through your provided contact information and social media.
If the bin is overfilled or too heavy, we may also reserve the right not to collect it.
We don’t want to risk injuring our crews or damaging our vehicles. An overfilled bin is a danger while in transit. If it’s too heavy, it could also damage the vehicle or injure people trying to get it ready for transport.
We request that you inform us of these issues ahead of time, so we can make the proper arrangements.
For health and safety reasons, crews are not permitted to manually remove items that are stuck in the bins. If at all possible, we ask that you remove any wedged or frozen items in the contents before the collection schedule.
Finally, if the bins were damaged in any way, that is a violation of our terms of service. We will not collect any damaged bins, particularly if the damage was due to the contents. If you have any other questions, click this link for assistance.
